Things to look for in the launch video:
- An American Bald Eagle flying infront of the Space Shuttle as the National Anthem is sung by NASA Procurement Office Karen Griffin
- Just after the anthem is sung, you can see the GOX vent arm retract and swing into view at the top of the service structure
- Fish jumping out of the water, during the countdown
- During liftoff it is possible to see the RCS Tyvek covers fall away, as bright dots over the top and aft of the vehicle
- Shuttle piercing a cloud
- Divergent plumes during staging, just before it moves out of frame
- The booster casings falling as the External Tank and Orbiter proceed to orbit behind the clouds

Things to look for in the landing video:
- Listen for the Twin sonic booms when the countdown clock reaches 3:07
- The high rate of descent of Atlantis
- The rudder speedbrake open on the tail as it rolls down the runway
- The fluttering of the drag chute, after the orbiter has reduced her speed
- Flocks of birds disrupted by the landing
- the overflight of the (STA) chase plane after the landing
